Description
The camp takes place at the beautiful Sportivo Nidrino sports centre, a peaceful yet spacious training facility nestled in the foothills above Lake Como.
The centre has several different training areas, including a training dojo overlooking the lake, an outdoor artificial turf pitch, a 7,000 m² grass field and a large training dome. The centre also has complete social facilities.
How to get there
From Como you can walk along the tourist trail or take the local historic funicular (€3 / runs every 30 minutes between 6am and midnight / timetable HERE).
From the Brunate funicular station, the Nidrino sports centre is just a 400-metre walk along the street Via Nidrino.
By plane (+train):
The nearest airport is Milan Malpensa (MXP)
There are also two other airports (Bergamo Orio al Serio and Linate)
From Milan Malpensa you can take the train via Saronno to Como Lago (approx. 1 hour / €10)
By train:
The nearest train station to the funicular is Como Lago. The next train station is 1.5 km/20 minutes walk from the funicular: Como San Giovanni.

By car:
There is a large parking place by the Nidrino sports centre at the end of the street by the playground. Check Google Maps.
Be careful when arriving by camper or van. The streets are quite narrow and this may be a problem for somebody.
Food and center facilities
Meals can be arranged completely independently or by arranging regular orders for lunches and dinners from local suppliers. Thanks to our Italian team, there should be no problem with a group discount. At the same time, Marťa can prepare a rich and healthy breakfast every day. Depending on preferences, the price would then be individually agreed according to the volume of ingredients for each person. (Her breakfasts are unbeatable). For those who will sleep in the Dojo, a light breakfast will also be included in the price.
The center also includes the Trattoria del Cacciatore restaurant or you can visit the Capolinea Bistrot at the exit of the cable car in Brunate. There is also a Carrefour Express supermarket on the way between Como train station and the funicular. Como, of course, has a number of supermarkets.
For the purpose of storing food, we will have 4 refrigerators, kettles and a microwave oven at our disposal. Unfortunately, cooking on fire is prohibited in the center.
Accommodation
Accommodation is available directly at the Dojo for a fee of 10€ per night (the gym where we will train during the day, if we are not outside). You must bring your own sleeping bag and mat.
Other accommodation options are AirBnB near the center or some of the accommodations that locals can help us arrange. In this location, these are usually simple accommodations with two beds.
