Camp organizers

Miroslav Sokol
- Twenty years of traditional karate serve as my movement foundation. Thanks to an excellent master, I had the space to truly understand the concept of ‘training.’
- I love personal challenges that don’t necessarily align with other people’s opinions. They do, however, align with an inner desire for exploration – ultramarathon runs (130 km), running across our country from north to south in 5 days, a cycling trip to Greece, a walking trip to Italy, 50,000 jump-rope skips in 7 hours, running from Brno to Bratislava – 7 marathons in 7 days, completing an Everesting challenge as a pair (running 8,848 m of elevation gain), unbroken run over the Tatras, a two-month walk across Europe, challenge 1,000 pull-ups – 10,000 push-ups – 100,000 jump-rope skips in 34 hours…
- For over twenty years I have organized, or been part of the organizing team of, the Miroslav Training Camp, summer camps, and various strength and movement camps.
- I lead movement classes in a similar spirit to the Ido Portal Method, Gymnastic Bodies…
- I do my best to be a guide of movement for a group of friends.
- I regularly attend various movement camps and workshops abroad, have experienced the basic level of cold exposure according to the Wim Hof Method, have explored the pros and cons of fasting, etc.
- I train so that every day I can do whatever comes to mind, and so that my body is a temple in which I enjoy residing.
- I believe that where you feel a certain obsession that continually fills you with joy, that is where your purpose lies.

Daniela Hlavatá
- I’m not the type of person who would be naturally pulled towards the beauty of movement — quite the opposite. I only found my way to movement fairly recently (after many years of effort on Mirek’s part), and it gradually escalated. From my first slow and painful kilometers and ‘girl’ push-ups to group strength training, hikes, and stair or hill runs.
- This, so far, short journey has shown me that training isn’t just about strength and conditioning, but mainly about the mind. And even when the body protests, with humor and a sarcastic comment about the painful situation, you can always push a little further 😄. I’ve become someone who needs movement and laughter on a daily basis.
- The way we train — with respect for our own bodies, without unnecessary pressure, and with a good dose of perspective — suited me so well that I started applying it to my own training. I enjoy the instinctive approach where we learn to listen to the body instead of punishing it. And above all, the atmosphere — team-oriented, supportive, and at times full of wonderfully absurd humor that is just part of who we are.
- And cause am frm Strava , I also bring a hefty dose of sarcasm and proper Czech.. (inner Czech joke:-D)

Martina Abukhlal
- Marťa is the only reasonable member of our expedition. There’s nothing more to add — that says it all. We’re very glad we have her! :-*
